Linguistics appears to many school students a lean and dull code of rules. To overcome this delusion, and open the richness of language science to children, from 2000, the Russian Bear. Linguistics for Everyone international contesthas been held on an annual basis. In 2011, the number of participants reached 2,844,173 and covered Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Latvia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Estonia, India, Israel, UAE, USA, Germany, Finland, UK, Bulgaria and other states.
«Math Kangaroo» (2010 – 2012 ãîä).
Millions of children around the world do not need explanation on what Kangaroo Contest is. This is a large-scale international competition in mathematics, with a motto ‘Mathematics for Everyone’. The main goal of the completion is to attract as many children as possible to solving math problems, and to demonstrate to each school student that problem solving can be lively, exciting and even cheerful process!
The English language to many students appears just a set of dull rules, and is associated with cramming and endless exercises. The main goal of this completion is raising interest to the English language and a desire to continuously learn and discover new things in it.
The idea of the completion goes to British Institutes, a UK-based organization. First it was held in Italy winning itself a vast popularity. British Bulldog in Russia is held under supervision of Russia Academy of Education Efficient Education Institute.
All-Russia Competition «CIT » (2011)
Computers, Informatics, Technologies (CIT) is creative completion in computer-based science and mathematics. It is a part of completion series under Efficient Education for Everybody project run by Efficient Education Institute. The sponsor of the completion is Pedagogics Measurement Center.
Competition Goals and Objectives:
- Participation by students in creative activities;
- Development of students’ cognitive interest in computer-based science, informatics and information technologies, and mathematical tool in the field of computer science;
- Promotion of out-of-school activities;
- Affording opportunity to the participants to compete at above-regional level.
Russia national natural science competition «Man and Nature » (2011)
International Math and Logic Game Competition has been held in Europe (France) for more than 2 decades and has high popularity. Every year, more than 20 countries participate in the competition. The competition is open to school students (1 to 11 grades), secondary and higher education students, graduates and adult professionals of all ages. Each age category will be offered with a range of substandard creative tasks. Competitor rating and the winners are determined by the problem solving results. In the Russian Federation, the completion is held in three rounds.
Innovation Project Festival «New Generation » (Ulyanovsk)
New Generation Innovation Project Regional Festival for children and youth is held within education programme Science. Humankind. Progress (Russian Federation Resolution 325 dated 6 April 2006, State Support Measures for Talented Youth).
The Festival has been added to the list of Olympiads and Competitions being the basis to awarding RF President Grands to support talented young people.

- International Invention and Innovation Show «New Time»
The sow includes the following:
- Invention and new technology fair
- New Time annual international contests of children and youth innovations and inventions. Try-outs are conducted in the participant States, and national winners take part in New Time international invention and new technology show in Sevastopol.
Man and Nature completion is a part of Efficient Education for Everybody programme, and is a successor of traditions laid down by Math Kangaroo, CIT, Golden Fleece and other projects. Man and Nature is open to those who are fond of natural history, geography, biology, astronomy, physics, chemistry, ecology etc. The Competition is held amongst 1 to 10 grade students.
Man and Nature contest is held on an annual basis on the third Thursday in April, while the results are provided to schools by September 1.
